Good riding routes out of the TwinCites:  This is  work in progress and for now is just a response to a question.  If you have any rides you want to add please do so.  You can be as complete as you like and even include an image of map and I can post it on this page:
Ohh There are so many options...

West: When heading out west through Edan Praire via Bake / Mithchel road to Pioneer trail and head west to 42 then down and up out of Chaska via hwy 110 / and head back through Victoria or Waconia and loop bring in the south or north side of Lake Minnetonka depending how long I want to go.

East:  Heading out to Stillwater is good – Hwy 7 that is part of the Manatou course drops you into St. Croix Falls and then loop back out of Stillwater via 95.

Woodbury to Afton and out towards Hastings via 95 works for some great riding. Hwy 35 in WI along the river has some great hills south of Prescot.
