TriEndurance Boulder Adventure Camp was a success!

Here are some notes I received after the campers returned to Minnesota:

“Thanks, Jared!  I am actually swimming 100's in the low 1:40's now.....something that I could never do before the camp.  Also, better yet my knee feels fine.  Thanks for adjusting my bike position.  I learned a ton and had a great time!  Thanks”

Tracy Kent -  St. Paul, MN

“Jared - I didn't get a chance to talk to you much when we left Boulder last week.  It was really a GREAT camp.  Yeah, I bitched pretty loud when my legs were sore going up those mountains, but you were so right when you said that we would have been pretty disappointed if we didn't work hard.  The workouts were tough, but doable, the group was friendly and encouraging, the weather was as good as it gets, the views were fantastic, the food was unbelievable, and the hospitality was very gracious.”

                                                                                    Joan VanCamp – Excelsior, MN

“Hey Jared!   THANK YOU SO MUCH for the Awesome camp.   You lead such a great group of athletes!   I'm so glad you organized such and opened up your house to us with such warm hospitality.   Thanks for everything!   It was worth every penny and every minute!

Log for the wk.:
10,400 meters of swimming
180 miles of biking
30.4 miles of running (hiking/gasping whatever you want to call it!)

Over 20 tough hours in 5 days!”

                                                                                    Julie Hull – Farmington, MN

Coaches Camp notes:

I really enjoyed the opportunity to share this amazing training environment.  The outdoor pool was cozy warm, the weather was great and the terrain proved challenging.  I thought one of the coolest things about the camp was that we had massage therapy on 3 out of the 5 days.  So when the weary campers came back from a hard day of training, they were able to relax into a 60-90 minute massage.  We basically ate, relaxed, and slept with a triathlon adventure purpose for 5-days straight.  All the fun challenges were included:  we climbed 6000 feet in a 4hr ride, climbed 1500 feet in a 30min run right after a 2700 foot in less than 60minutes on the bike (steep!).  The Banana Oatmeal Waffles were a hit and plenty of recovery power smoothies were consumed.

I was truly impressed with the determination, enthusiasm and accomplishments of the TriEndurance Campers!

I promise the May camp will be just as exciting, challenging and relaxing as our first camp.  With only 4 weeks a way, we have just a couple of spots open.  If you would like to attend and have not already signed up let me know as soon as possible so we can plan.

Let me know how it goes at the races – everything is news worthy – I only know what I hear and see,

Thanks for reading,

Jared
